About the Event
Calling all women in Alaska: Are you interested in a career in construction? Do you currently work in construction and want to transition to a new position or pursue continuing education? Come explore the many pathways to get the education and training you need right here in Alaska!
Occupation opportunities range from the trades (laborers, electricians, carpenters, plumbers, etc.) to Project Management, Health & Safety, Construction Management, Human Resources, Business Management, and Executives. A guest speaker(s) from UAA Community Technical College will be in attendance and will share opportunities for continuing education credits and certificates.
Open House 12-4, Guest Speakers from 1-3.
Guest speakers from education and training, and employers will be in attendance and will share opportunities and tips for working in the construction industry.
